Why interval funds belong in a modern portfolio

Interval funds offer access to less liquid strategies with built-in quarterly liquidity.

Interval funds sit between daily-liquid mutual funds and locked-up private funds. They repurchase a set share of assets on a schedule, which lets managers hold less liquid assets like private credit.

For long-term investors, that trade-off can bring diversification and return potential that daily funds can't easily reach.

The key is sizing: treat interval fund holdings as long-term money you won't need on short notice.
